Hot Springs Village is a charming community nestled in the Ouachita Mountains of West Central Arkansas, less than 15 miles north of Hot Springs National Park. The Village was started in the early 70's by Cooper Communities, Inc., and since has grown to approximately 15,600 residents. In addition to our own permanent residents, we have property owner who own vacation homes, investment property, rental homes or simply a home site lot for their future in the Village. There are about 33,000 property owners spread over 28,000 acres. 25% of the community is dedicated to green space. Homes are built yet the natural beauty remains.
We are a private community. Our own police force and controlled access gates limit entry to property owners and their guests.
We have our own police force, ambulance service and fire department. Churches, medical offices, banks, retail stores, restaurants and grocery facilities are in or close by to the Village.
The greatest attractions are the recreational facilities provided here. We have twelve lakes for fishing, boating, swimming and skiing as well as ten expertly designed golf courses . This is truly a golfer's paradise !
You can perfect your backhand on one of 16 lighted, pro-surfaced tennis courts. We have a full-time tennis pro and staff and also a pro shop if you need equipment. People can swim year round with indoor and outdoor pools and two lake beaches.
Health programs are ongoing, complete with whirlpools, saunas, weight room and fitness instructors. We offer lawn bowling, a basketball court, shuffle board, nature trails, miniature golf and much more! The quality recreational facilities available may be enjoyed and limited only by one's imagination.
Within the Village there are over 150 Clubs and Organizations covering every type of interest.
Membership fees are assessed from all property owners at a rate of $32.00 per month. Property owners enjoy all of the amenities of the Village at year round low rates.
Our homes and town homes vary in size and are affordable in price. (See our Featured Properties) We have beautiful wooded home site lots at very affordable prices. More expensive lots are located on the golf courses and lakes. There is something here for everyone.
